Visting mural villages is one of the cheap things to do in Seoul and in Korea in general. Ihwa Mural Village is no different – it is one of the popular places of attraction in the city. Beautiful paintings on the buildings in the living area and art installations make you feel that you’re in a local rural area with a few cozy and authentic cafes, where you can take a break after long and exciting walks of exploring. 3. Hiking in Bukhasan National Park

There are a few mountains you can climb up to and one of them is the highest in the city – Bukhasan! Even though it’s the highest peak in Seoul, try out the routes to the other mountains as Dobongsan and Suraksan. Just make sure you have reliable footwear and gloves for better grip as there are not a lot of safety wires and hiking might be a bit slippery on the rocky surface. But once you’re on top, it’s all worth it to see the magnificent panorama of urban and modern Seoul.
